Optec Quicksync FSQ Motor Kit for FSQ-106 4" Focuser

The Optec Quicksync FSQ is an aftermarket add-on for the Takahashi 4" Focuser as used on the latest Takahashi FSQ-106. It includes the Quicksync digital motor with built-in temperature sensor. The Quicksync motor provides a direct drive motor that can be easily disengaged for manual focusing. The motor kit is easy to install and provides a digital focusing solution that also allows manual focus when at the telescope if required.

The Optec Quicksync FSQ package was designed especially for the 4" FSQ Focuser. It features a direct gearing system that leaves the planetary reduction assembly and unique tensioning system intact, Quicksync FSQ can achieve greater positional repeatability and carry imaging camera packages in excess of 5 kg (11-lbs)!

To operate the Quicksync FSQ, a focus controller is required. This is either the Optec Focuslynx or a suitable alternative controller such as that found in the Pegasus Astro Ultimate Power Box v2
