Description

The Mini Wedge is designed to act as an equatorial wedge for simple motorized mounts such as the Fornax Lightrack, Astrotrac and Vixen Polarie etc. It is a clone of the original Tele-Optic ATC Wedge.

When combined with our GR-Mini Head, Counter Weight Shaft and Weight, the ATC turns the components into an ultra compact EQ Mount system for both visual and imaging use.

When combined with a compact Alt-Az Head such as the AZ-T6, the Mini Wedge turns the components into an ultra compact EQ Mount system for both visual and imaging use.

Simple Setup

The Mini Wedge can be fixed on any photo tripod with 3/8" screw. Simple controls allow for easy alignment of Altitude and Azimuth for accurate polar alignment of the mount. The large lever locks the wedge elevation firmly in place and can then be moved out of the way.
